Allengers Medical Systems joined hands with Lipi Foundation to educate employees about PCOS
As the world is getting more concerned about the work ethics and healthy work environment, the companies around the world are taking steps to ensure better surroundings for the employees. In countries like India, government and NGOs are working tirelessly to educate people about the diseases like AIDS, cancer and PCOS which are generally considered taboo to talk about openly. But, without the help of the employer, it is not possible to reach out a maximum number of people to spread the knowledge.
Lipi Foundation, which is a Chandigarh-based NGO, is working on a series of workshops to educate people of Tri-City about PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). Lipi organized yet another successful workshop at Allengers Medical Systems in Sector 34-A on 3rd June 2017. The workshop was attended by 47 participants at local office as well as offsite offices via video conferencing.
Allengers which is one of the leading medical diagnostic equipment manufacturers went a step ahead for the benefit of its employees. The company made sure that the information about PCOS reaches to its maximum number of employees thus included the employees from offsite locations via video conferencing as well.
The workshop was curated by Mr Nishkam Chatrath, (Project associate with Lipi Foundation), while the session and lecture on PCOS was conducted by Dr Bedi from Bedi Hospital, Sector 33, Chandigarh. The workshop concluded with Mr Chatrath thanking Allengers group and Furocyst® (innovative dietary supplement which helps in managing PCOS) and Grecobe® The Green Coffee (green coffee bean extract that helps in reducing free radicals in the body.) for supporting the cause.
